Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Tessarakt is a 3D puzzle game. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what is necessary to make the game work. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, and how you can control it.

What We Collect

We collect two types of information:

• Leaderboard data — if you choose to enter a display name, that name and your score are stored in our database (Firebase Firestore, operated by Google). This is entirely optional. You can play the game without entering a name and nothing will be stored externally.
• Local preferences — your game settings (cube size, theme, music preference, streak, best score, and premium unlock status) are saved locally on your device using standard browser storage. This data never leaves your device.
• Purchase information — if you purchase the premium unlock, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play. We receive only a confirmation of the purchase status directly from Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment details.

What We Don't Collect

• We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, or any contact information
• We do not collect your location
• We do not use advertising or tracking SDKs
• We do not sell any data to third parties
• We do not use cookies

How We Use Your Data

The only external data we store is your chosen display name and game scores on the leaderboard. This is used solely to display rankings to all players. Your display name is visible to other players on the global leaderboard.

Third-Party Services

Tessarakt uses Firebase Firestore (Google) to store leaderboard scores. Google's privacy policy applies to this data and can be found at policies.google.com/privacy.

Tessarakt uses Google Fonts to load the Nunito typeface. This involves a request to Google's servers when the app loads. Google's privacy policy applies.

In-app purchases are handled directly through Google Play Billing. Google's privacy policy governs the payment transaction. Tessarakt does not receive or store any payment card or billing information. Google's privacy policy can be found at policies.google.com/privacy.

Data Retention

Leaderboard entries are retained indefinitely to maintain rankings. Local device data persists until you clear your browser/app storage.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your leaderboard entry at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will remove your name and scores from our database within 7 days.

You can clear all local data at any time by clearing the app's storage in your device settings.

Children's Privacy

Tessarakt does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. The leaderboard display name field is optional and should not contain real names. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date at the top.
